CAN'T DECIDE. HELP! SJSU / SDSU / Pomona

What are the pros and cons about SJSU / SDSU / Pomona?
I'm trying to major in computer engineering / software engineer / computer science
Still debating... but I'm current listed as Computer Engineering.

I know quite a bit about SJSU since I live like 60miles away. It's nice friendly environment with all the tech companies around it.

But what about SDSU / Pomona?
Which college is better?

(Can't afford UC unless I do 2 years of JC)

all of them are good schools, so any one will do …

Cal Poly Pomona is the best.

I’m under the impression that San Jose State is best in your particular major.

CalPoly Pomona should be better than San Diego State.

“…(Can’t afford UC unless I do 2 years of JC)…”

Careful! I have heard that it is super hard to go from a California State University (for example, SJSU or SDSU) to a UC. CSUs are not JCs. It IS common to go from JCs (or CCs - community colleges) to UCs, and in fact, there is a higher acceptance rate of entering juniors to UCs than of entering freshman to UCs.

I have heard pomona is “better” and I also heard they have a good art program. Not sure what that means for you, though.

@Hanaviolet, it’s either 4 years of CSU or 2 years JC and 2 years of UC for me.

Really? Pomona is better?
But I heard a friend who goes there say that their computer hardware are getting old.

Irelia, gotcha. I see you were posing it as either/or.
