Can't decide on a major. PLEASE HELP

I can’t decide what to do with my life.
I am a sophomore interested in Biology, so I have been studying for a year and a half on the road to get either a BS in Biochemistry or Molecular Genetics. I am also minoring in Japanese, even though it was a double major at first. I have always been fascinated by Japanese culture, so much so that I’m writing a book on it (coming out 2021). I am taking a gender studies class too, which I find very interesting and I think psychology and anthropology are really interesting subjects as well.

Right now, I need advice on what major to choose that’ll lead me to have a stable income (I have so many interests that I feel like I’m bound to find something I enjoy in anything).

I have two months before I need to declare. The choices are to stick with bio and go into the path of research (it is my second semester working in a lab and I am not that fond of it, even though the results are really cool), go to medical school (my initial plan, and if I stick with it, it will pay off), change to a Japanese major, change to a social science major like Gender Studies, or do something completely different and study Art History like I’ve wanted since middle school (and work in a museum if I get lucky). I also considered teaching and although the idea isn’t terrible, the income is just awful for many and I am not that passionate about it. I do work as a literacy tutor for elementary school children in Rochester (the city school district students perform poorly on literacy tests so its a crisis), and I do find the school administration side of things really cool.

I need ideas for careers that allow some form of intersection of these areas or at least some free time so that I can indulge in my hobbies - dance, writing, etc. And as you can tell, I’m all over the place.

Thanks

TERRIBLE idea. Why start out down a path that you already know doesn’t suit you.

Do you really WANT to follow this path? if not, it’s a bad idea

Again, if you don’t really WANT to follow this path, it’s a bad idea.

Time to distinguish between things that are interesting and things in which you want to invest 40 years of your adult life.

It doesn’t require luck to work in a museum. It requires time, commitment, at some point a Masters. I am a big believer in following your truest self. Go look at the Art History major seriously: can you finish it in 2 years (even if it means summer school)? Start looking asap for summer jobs. Can you bring any of your Japanese expertise to bear on an Art History major?

Art History grads don’t make much money out the gate- but if that is a priority, take that BA, get that MA, and become expert in a particular field. There are ways to make a very comfortable- and, crucially, happy life in the field.

In my opinion, your indecision and lack of focus might be cured by an internship or two in the real world.

Art history is probably better as a passion and a hobby than as a potential career.

If you are more admin oriented than curator oriented you can also look at museum administration- undergrad art history or related social science + Masters in Management + experience
