Cant decide

My plan is to earn my Bachelors in Accounting FULLY ONLINE, however, looking to transfer some of the accredited credits i have (about 40) to complete an associate Online in Business so I can then use that to apply towards completing my Bachelors… Having an Associate opens up more options online to chose from BS… After careful research I’ve narrowed it down to three schools. UMUC (Univeristy of Maryland University College), SNHU (Souther New Hampshire University) and FIT (Florida Institute of Technology)… None are AACSB, although i don’t believe that will matter much when just getting your Associate since none of the courses are upper division (as normally required for a BS)… Any thoughts on any of these schools, my wife currently is doing UMUC, she likes it…

UMUC- flexible, accelerated terms, ton of online options, still part of the MD university system

SNHU - Tier 1 research , does have ACBSP accreditation at the least, CHEAP $311/cr, 8 week terms with 5-6 terms/year

FIT - Tier 1, top 20 in graduate starting salary earnings in the country, growing school, 8 wek terms, 6/year

thoughts on any of these, experiences?

I transferred out of University of Phoenix after I got my AA in Business Admin and went to Northeastern University to do an accounting BS. I ended up doing a management BS. So based on my experience and knowledge I will tell you that if you are looking to complete the AA for now, look to a local community college for online associates degrees or a state college. This will save you a ton of money! Then transfer out to a school with an online Accounting degree. I would advise that you do more research in that area as there are many other accounting programs that are much more reputable and cheaper than the programs you listed. Best of luck…

Oh and be careful too because some sate colleges will not give resident waivers for tuition for online classes because of the costs involved.
