Can't Find Internship

Currently BS Economics and Statistics Major as Declared Accounting Major with 3.0. Interviewed with 10 decent companies for summer intern like GE, got rejected from all. Did bunch of mock interviews at joined Toastmasters. Still can't earn a summer internship.

Here are my stats:
-3.0/4.0
-Eboard
-Past Marketing and IT Intern
-Involved in Case Competition
-100 Community Service Horus
-Beta Alpha Psi
-Toastmasters
-Other Clubs

I'm freaking out, still don't have a internship while other peers have one. BTW I'm a sophomore :(

Also I go to Michigan State University, and am applying to their Accounting program, but I probably wont’ get into the business school at all since I don’t have a 3.5 GPA. Most of the employer recruit mainly Accounting, Supply Chain, Computer Science, or Engineering Majors.

Been networking and trying to improve my study skills, but still no luck. What should I do? :(

Just keep trying. Jobs are out there, you just need to know where to look.

Also, network at every opportunity. Go to company information sessions, go to career fairs, and definitely use the Michigan State Career Center.

If all else fails, try to look for a backup job in retail which might help you get the internship next summer. You’re still a sophomore competing with experienced juniors and seniors. The fact that you got interviews is great. Keep it up and good luck!

Normally, when college student get a offer from their summer internship?
by end of Feb. still did not get one, is it mean no good?

I don’t think so. That completely depends on the company.

Some of the summer internships I’m applying to have a deadline of April 1st.
