<p>Please purchase CNAS Freshman Scholars Learning Communities: The Freshman Advising Seminar Handbook by Carol C. Kanar and Christopher Olivera, Ph.D. (published by Cengage Learning). It is available at the UCR bookstore and at the UBE. The ISBN # is 1-420-8136-X.</p>

<p>In order to be prepared for our first discussion on Tuesday, September 29, please read Chapter 1 prior to attending class.</p>

<p>You will also need to purchase the 2009-2010 UCR General Catalog. It will be available at the UCR bookstore in October.</p>
