Hello, @run6457 . are you there? Do you have some updates from your calls to colleges?
@suzyQ7 yes sorry! I called the school and apparently they tried to deny the acceptance but the school said that they also needed student consent. Aka it wasn’t withdrawn. Despite this, which is awesome, I’m still stuck on how to pay for everything. So, I have decided that I will be moving to Virginia to go to community college there for a few years. They have garunteed assurance programs to UVA, William and Mary, and Geroge Washington if I keep a GPA above ~3.5 for two years. I have enough money saved up so can completely cut ties with my parents. ( I will be living with relatives in Virginia, and have about 10k in the bank from working at McDonald’s which is enough to cover about two years then I plan to work throughout college as well and this coming and next summer)
A student told me Walmart pays more than McDonald’s these days.
George Washington University is not a state school. They are private. Perhaps you meant George Mason
University. The guaranteed admission in VA is great. Good luck to you.
Right now, check residency requirements in VA for instate costs. In many states, moving there for educ purposes is a roadblock.
Best wishes.
