<p>I am a junior in high school and i just got into NYU Tisch Summer Program for Dramatic Writing. I was wondering if anyone knows if its a selective program for the summer? Is it worth the 8,000 dollars? I am skeptical, because i dont have the strongest grades and such, but i don't know. Any feedback? Thanks!</p>

In past years we've received over 600 applications for the Drama, CAP21, and Narrative programs.</p>
<p>I don't know if that helps at all. 8000 dollars seems kind of steep, but I'd do it if you're really interested. If you'd do it on your own, not considering college, then go. If you wouldn't go otherwise, it might not be worth the money.</p>
<p>Either way, make sure you do <i>something</i> over the summer.</p>
