I was able to submit a successful FAFSA application and corrections (to add more than 6 colleges) back in early Feb. I got the SAR via email and everything was processed.

Then my family got our 2005 tax returns done and I needed to do corrections to update any info relative to the new information. Did my 1st correction on the 24th of Feb., waited 3 days, didn't receive an email saying they processed it, and the SAR, etc. Went to the website to check it out, everything seemed fine and it said it was processed. So I decided to do another correction (for another set of colleges for the new tax info) and was able to do so.

This was on the 27th and again even though the website says it is processed (I even called them, it looks fine), i got no email.

However, this time, when I go to the fafsa to do a another batch of corrections, the website keeps on telling me:

Application has already been submitted.

. . . even though it was processed on the 27th.

So I waited another day like the Fafsa representative told me so, but its been past that and I can't seem to do my last batch of corrections with the new 2005 tax return info.

Anybody experienced this? Is there a workaround? I am assuming since its early March, people are scrambling to get their fafsa's in and the system might be overwhelmed with applications.
