I cannot send the SAT scores directly from CB because the 4 free ones have already been used/sent out. The schools that I am applying to are not on that list. I cannot send out any extra because I cannot pay it (no credit card, etc). Would the schools accept the test scores if they are on my HS transcipt? Both said that "applicants should send scores directly from testing agency", but said nothing about not being able to send it with the transcript. Do colleges make a big deal about this?

Colleges I am talking about: Northwestern and Colby

Should I submit the apps anyways and call the admissions office once it opens to express my concerns?

Most colleges won't consider the scores on the transcript 'official' and since you say the websites for those schools say that scores should be sent directly from collegeboard, it seems you should. Can you use a parent's credit card or a friend's? If you ask a friend, you can just give them the money

Unfortunately, not many of my friends have credit cards :(

Should I just forget about these schools then? It seems so unfair, just because I can't send them out directly from CB, they won't even consider me as an applicant? :[

So you are saying that SAT scores on my transcript will be accepted by these colleges because I am using a app fee waiver for them too (well only NWU, Colby's app is free if applying online)?

Should I write a letter and include it with my transcript and explain my situation to Northwestern? Would they understand?

No, I meant that you can send the common application without paying as long as you have fee waivers.

I don't think they have fee waivers for sending SAT test scores, since they cost under $10. You could try to asking if there are such things though.

What about asking a really good friend's parent?

Well, I meant to just ask them to help you pay since they have credit cards. ^^; I was assuming you would try to find some way to pay them back with cash. :/

Since you use fee waivers, I understand you probably have tight financial constraints, but SAT scores must be sent to colleges and if you only have 2, that's only $19. Do you hold a job, or could you find one? [or could you save it from cutting down some expenses?]
