My son was accepted to both UT’s CAP program and Blinn TEAM among other options. He has secured a CAP spot at UTSA and is seriously considering it but our family may very well move out of state within the next year. If so, he would retain in-state tuition at A&M due to his “acceptance” there via Blinn TEAM as well as at UTSA due to his enrollment. Would this benefit be lost during the transfer process to UT Austin under CAP? If so, it would be a deal breaker for us despite preference for this option. Any info or advice is appreciated.
don’t think it would remove instate tuition for CAP even if you transfer to Austin considering you have stayed more than 3 years in the state before he went to college … and also Im a current CAP student at UTSA so if you have any questions about the program or want more details , just message me and ill be glad to help
