CAP Program??

I applied to UT Austin with a biology major and got offered into the CAP program, which didn’t really affect me. However, I have recently decided to go in the pre law direction and pursue that field instead. I have heard many great things about the law school at UT Austin, and I think going there as an undergraduate student would really help me. But I have not been offered a spot and only into the CAP program. Should I still apply to the program or just go to a different school? My other options are SMU (already accepted) and I have recently been placed on the waitlist for NYU as well.

Please help!

Are finances an issue for you? Both NYU and SMU are expensive and you are looking at 7 years of college for undergrad and law school. If you do CAP, do well, transfer into UT and keep your gpa as close to 4.0 as possible and most importantly do well on LSAT, your chances will be comparable to others. I don’t know if UT law gives undergrad students an edge.
