Capoeira at Berkeley

What is the capoeira scene at Berkeley? I know heard about recreational classes at RSF (they also seem expensive for a student's budget). Is there a club for people into it that has no cost or an official Berkeley team perhaps?

Check out DeCals for some additional choices. www.decal.org

That would have been nice but I looked and I didn’t find capoeira this fall.

Does anyone know?

The RSF class appears to be the only university option. There is a local city of Berkeley organization and school but its rates appear higher than the RSF alternative.

That is very sad! You are almost never wrong rider730 but I hope maybe this time you are (lol), but thanks for looking I appreciate that, yeah UCA is more expensive and farther away but RSF class is still expensive for my budget. Does anyone know the dynamics of does RSF Capoeira class?

Does anyone else know about a capoeira club or official team?

Judo is better than capoeira anyway.

No, not really. Clearly you have never done capoeira.

Capoeira is an impressive dance.

afc10ns and anyone else, do you know about a Judo club or group in Berkeley where you can practice without them charging you?
