I have decided (as of now) that I want to study Operations Research and Management. But, not only did I not originally apply for it, but I've been told that it is capped of at 25 students per class. How hard is it/ what credentials would you need to be selected as one of the 25 kids who are allowed to declare the ORMS major?

In the FAQ linked from here:
[Undergrad Academic Programs](http://ieor.berkeley.edu/AcademicPrograms/Ugrad/index.htm)
it says that a 3.2 minimum GPA is needed in the prerequisite courses, but that “many factors are considered” for admission to the major.
