I know Penn State does not allow freshman to park their cars on campus, but I have heard that some people who live in State College "rent out" parking spots on their property for students who can't get a pass. Does anyone know about how much this costs and where I can look for offers of this type? What are my options if it is necessary for me to have my car at school as a freshman?

Many of the large houses on West College Avenue have signs up offering spots.
You could also get in touch with one of the big rental agencies in town and ask them.
