<p>Could someone give me options for one-time 1 hour car rental to move out my stuff into an apartment? I've looked into Ithaca Carshare, but it doesn't look appropriate for me because I'll only be using it once.</p>
<p>If you’re under 25 you may have trouble finding someone to rent you a vehicle at all. Home Depot does rent open-backed trucks (like a pick-up) for 75 minutes for $20 which might be a great deal for you, but I don’t know what their minimum age is.</p>
<p>Yea, I’m under 25. There’s no other rental options then? I didn’t even know we had a Home Depot nearby… Does Lowe’s also provide this? I believe they are closer.</p>
<p>Looks like Lowes does offer a similar service in “select locations”. They don’t list an age requirement – you’d have to call them. There’s a Home Depot at 410 ELMIRA Road BLDG 1, Ithaca but I don’t know their age requirement either. It looks like some rental car companies will rent a basic vehicle to someone 21 - 25 yo. If you’re under 21, you may need to find a helpful friend.
