car

ok ima move to UCLA alone on saturday. well not alone because i have to pick up my friend from boston who also is going to go to ucLA. But i was wondering can i leave my car for the nite and say i was moving in. And where can i park my car if i wanna use it my first week. any Streets? residential areas? all- nite parking areas? heeeeeelp plz

by the way i dont have a parking permit. i felt 300 sumthing was a bit much

when i went to go visit 2 weeks ago i parked on gayley (across the frats) right behind the DeNeve plaza complex (near Fir and Evergreen) and that parking was free....but there were a bunch of cars already parked there so it might be a hassle trying to find an open space...especially since it will be once school has started...good luck!!

Yeah street parking on Gayley is free. I think you have to move your car sometime on Thursday for street cleaning, but other than that you get free parking that's close to campus.

Good luck parking anywhere near UCLA on public streets once people move in. lol

fudge i cant even parallel park. well i havent tried. ehhh wateva, i jus want my baby with me for as long as possiible:] plus i wanna drive everywhere. do they tow cars often if they park in a reserved parking spot at school

I don't know about towing, but they write a lot of tickets and fast!

^ yeah - UCLA has an entire parking enforcement division whose sole purpose is to write tickets
