Hi Parents,
This past fall I read a thread that mentioned many different on-line sources for companies that offer goodies, you were pleased with. I would LOVE for Sam's Club to offer a delivery service since I cannot order the snack foods (tray of Sun Chips, Granola Bars, Individual cookies) on line for home delivery. (I know my son hated hearing me refer to the academy as "Home"!) I don't want to ask his Sponsor Family to pick up and deliver an order I place on line that Sam's Club personnel will pull. He is on AP so he can't leave base or ask an upper classman to borrow a car.

YAY! WAMom68! You found it you research Goddess you! Thats so great. And its really funny reading back when some of us were all newbs. Must keep this thread alive for the incoming newbs.

Okay, here's an updated summary of the boodle links from the old thread. Please note that Fairytale brownies has offered us (probably because I asked) a discount for any deliveries going to service academies. If you are able to negotiate any discounts from any of your favorite boodle providers, please feel free to let us know. I, for one, would love to support these vendors.

Yep, I've sent hickory farms several times. Thinkgeek has the most awesome t's. I've gotten my kids several fun t-shirts from there (since they fit into the geek catagory) :P

I wanted to add this one as well. They have great prices & the cookies can't be beat. They have a package of 2 dozen cookies, snack mix & hard candies for less than 40 bucks & the cookies are seriously to die for.

The price and selection were good...have to see how well the Spider liked it.

He is freezing his poor little butt off at NMMI where apparently winter jackets are not issued even though it is 10 degrese! (insert indignant mom noises). I need an underarmour/hot cocoa care package source.

Hurry! Fairytale Brownies are on sale up to 40% off with no shipping charges - They are amazing and just what parents of cadets/mids need during these gray months. Oh, yeah, send some to your kids too. And, no, I don't work for them.

Just wanted to say I took your advice and shipped some of the fairytale brownies to both my son at USMA and my husband who is deployed in Baghdad. Got two messages today:

From Iraq : Send more, these are fantastic and going fast!

From USMA: These look too nice to eat (somehow I doubt that lasted).

Thanks for the recommendation, I got lots of "brownie points" out of it ;) !

I sent an assortment of cookies from Carolina Cookie (suggested by Jamzmom) to my son at NMMI. He shared with some friends and they are offically a hit in New Mexico!

This was a nice change for him because I usually just get one of those flat rate boxes from the post office and load it up with trail mix, protein bars, etc. You can cram a lot into one of those boxes.

HI! Thank you for sharing! The Georgia USNA parents club is having a Dark Ages parents meeting to pack care packages this Saturday! My first duty as a plebe-to-be mom! I am so excited. And.. I am loving the ideas you guys share on here! And no mention of Tattoos! :) Thank you! Thank you!
