Care to read my Common app essay?

<p>Anyone care to read my common app essay? I would also appreciate comments on my Yale supplement essay, which is being used as my harvard optional essay too. I would hope that they're both interesting reads; however, they both reach around 750 words. Do you think that could hurt me (them being over 500 especially since 500 is an explicit guidelinish limit for Yale)</p>
