Career Choices

I cant figure out what I want to do.
What are you planing to do?
I like working with kids, animals, the elderly and I also like history (archology, reaserch).

I'm planning to go into medicine as a medical researcher or physician. If not, then college professor

Keep an open mind, and as long as your grades (in all core subjects) are good, you'll have a world of possibilities. Do you have any ideas of what career areas might interest you? If so, you could try getting volunteer positions or internships.

I wanna be a rock star.

That’s the problem. I would love to work with kids, but I would hate teaching in a school. I would like to care for something or someone (I have recently started thinking about physical therapy for children). I am a little squeamish, so no vet, doctor or surgeon careers for me. I don’t mind the blood; it’s just the part when the knife comes into play. :p
I would love to go into archeology, but I need to be more practical. I want a steady job and to be financially secure. Maybe I can be just an amateur archeologist. I want to be able to stay at home while I raise a family and be able to go back to work when they are older (I am home schooled and want to carry on the tradition).

Have you thought about nursing (RN or LPN)?

yes I have, but I dont think that I could handle it. ie. needles ;)
