Career in Record Production?

Hello,

I noticed that Berklee has a "Contemporary Writing and Production Major" which seems to prepare its students for a career in music production (e.g. George Martin, Phil Spector, Leiber+Stoller). Does anyone know of any other Masters programs of this kind? And does anyone know if an MM with this concentration would actually help someone get a job in the music industry as a producer/writer? Or would a more familiar degree (such as Sound Engineering) be a safer bet when it comes to job placement? Any information on this general topic would be greatly appreciated!

Nevermind, found a masterlink:
