Fantastic, if you combine the degree with certifications. For example, there are numerous certifications in analytics (business, financial, statistical, big data) that would show what you can do in the real world with all those quantitative skills. You could also pursue licensing related to stocks/investing, actuarial science/insurance/risk, auditing, etc. All of these opportunities are available by studying for an exam, or a series of exams. This is just for starters. All types of employers are eager to find people with great quantitative skills and the ability to do computational modeling and use related software programs. Here’s one article to get you thinking about some of the options available, but do your own searches to find more.

Thanks. I m just worried that a minor would not suffice and a math major alone isn’t the best when it comes to employability.

Math or statistics with a minor in CS would be very employable. With finance as a minor, probably less so. You absolutely have to have programming skills these days.
I meant doing math or statistic with a minor in both CS and Finance.
