<p>I'm going to be majoring in theology and religious studies in the fall at The Catholic University of America and I was wondering if I could get any feed back from people who have studied this and what careers you have/had. </p>

<p>I’m not in the religious studies field, but I’ve known quite a few people over the years who majored in this field. Some of them went to work for faith-based and other social service and philanthropic organizations, both in the US and internationally; others went into religious education and various parish ministries; still others went into print or broadcast religious journalism. Several of them went to graduate or professional school in a range of different fields: education, law, medicine, theology, classics, Asian studies, international affairs, bioethics.</p>
<p>Religious studies/theology is a liberal arts major. It won’t prepare you for a specific job, but it does provide skills that can be used in a number of different career endeavors. Here are some links that you might find helpful:
