I don't think that's so. My mom is extremely smart (and not just academically), but circumstances have kept her from doing what she wanted to do... Even though I am a result of her lack of success, I can still see it in her eyes.

oh and my friends bro had white hairs before he got out of high school. He studied too much :p

And what is stopping her from doing anything about it now? There are so many things you can start/do without an EXTREME investment of time or money in the beginning. I hope shes healthy though... :(

Uhh yeah thats why... She has multiple sclerosis and skin cancer...

I'm so sorry...:( I hope she is coping well with it.

Actually... considering... she is doing great (usually). We go to movies all the time, so I think that helps. We've seen 2 in the past 5 days heh.

Well thats very nice to hear, I am glad.
there are so many oppurtunities out there for anyone. I don't know the exact condition of your mom, but she can always start a home business, or start a charity of some sort, or volounteer when she is feeling well...But I agree with you, its sad to see defeat (sadness?) in someones eyes because they couldn't do what they wanted to do earlier in life (i see it with my dad)
