I'm currently a high school senior, and I've applied to numerous schools as a BME major.
However, I've read a lot of information claiming that BME majors are often "jacks of all trades" but masters of none... is this always true?
What type of job opportunities does a BME major usually have? How does medical school factor in?
I obviously want to pursue an interest of mine, but I'm nervous that after 4 years of hard work, I will have no career ahead. Advice?

It’s amazing how many people are in the same position and ask these same questions everyday on CC, use the ‘search’ feature on this forum. There’s loads of info

Nothing is always true, jack of all trades, yes because in school they learn a little mechanical a little EE , biology, etc. etc…jack of all trades, no because they have limited career opportunities whereas ME or EE could work as a BME among soo many other things.

A lot of people that are aspiring to do Med school but still want a challenging and interesting undergrad major relative to biology opt for BME. But there’s a disadvantage because if you gpa isn’t quite as high because of it, med school admission won’t sympathize enough.

Don’t be nervous, work hard in college and great things will come about.
