I'm making to many careless errors. I just took a practice test and scored 2140. I went back to do the ones I got wrong and noted which ones are due to careless errors. If I did not make any, I would have scored 2290. 150 points difference.

How do I fix this?

Well, there’s not a ton you can do for tomorrow…
But I suggest lots of practice tests for starters. Then, make sure you go over your answers at the end. If you don’t have time for this, then at least go over the questions more slowly. If you don’t have time for that…take more practices until you do.

I totally know what you’re talking about though…Story of my life.

Also, be sure you’re not taking shortcuts. In math, are you writing down even what you consider “easy” algebra? Do so. In reading are you fully reading every passage? Do you read all the answers to make sure you have the best, not just a true one? In writing, do you read the sentence as if you were speaking it aloud? Do so.

If these slow you down too much…practice until you pick up speed.

Good luck!

I was like that a month ago. What you need to do is to review your mistakes until you know why you missed them like the back of your hand. Also, mentality is what counts. You have to discipline your mind to be prudent. For me, I just think of my angry Asian parents yelling at me if I get a bad score.

In writing, read the questions aloud and use scrap paper to try out different possibilities. Much easier than doing it all in your head.
