babycakes-i am not living in singapore. But for international students, they will send the admission package by FEDEX.So it's pretty fast to the it.But if it's not the admission package, i guess it will be sent via snailmail. Anyway, gd luck!

Even if it's not the admission package, the notification should come through email I think, looking at above responses. I was notified through email as well.

Hi everyone - I was waitlisted at Carleton and know that there is only a very very very tiny chance that I might be admitted, but I'm going to try my darndest because I love it so much. So, I just wanted to say congrats to everyone who got in, but for the sake of us on the waitlist, if you end up deciding to go somewhere else, please let them Carleton really soon so we might have a chance.

And, I guess I should ask, does anyone know how big the waitlist is, and when is the best time to send love letters to Carleton?

^^Send them a letter as soon as you want. Try to move on from Carleton, because the waitlist is an extremely iffy place to be, but rest assured that Carleton will take all the people off the waitlist that they can--you probably won't hear anything more from them until mid to late may or even later. If it makes you feel any better, I am on one waitlist that probably no one will get off (and certainly not me, at any rate).

thanks for the advice. I think I'll take my time to compose the "please please please" letter, then as their probably not watching the clock and waiting for it. I have been pretty good about moving on, but I just read a million "reviews" of the college it looks like I'm going to and they all seem to stress COMPETITIVE! ALIENATING! CATTY! Academic, but not intellectually curious, is the general consensus, so suddenly my desire for Carleton has been thoroughly rekindled.

I live really close to Edina, maybe 20-30 blocks away. Small world.

i am an international student from nepal, needing full financial aid...i have been waitlisted...how strong are my chances...anyone please reply!
