Looking at last year’s ED posts, it looks like the mail went out on Friday, December 12th, so I would expect the date would probably be Friday, Dec 11th, this year. When you receive the mailing, may depend on how far you are from Northfield, MN! Also, some students, last year, rec’d an update to their webpage before they received anything in the mail. So, check that too, if you don’t receive anything in the mail.

Hi Anxious Mom, As far as I know, all of the letters went to the post office on Thursday afternoon and Friday morning. I know some of the local students have already heard, but it should take a few days for mail to reach the coasts. At this point I think the only reasons for a delay would be an incomplete application or the pretty big snow and wind we’re getting this weekend. Our office number is 1800-995-CARL, and don’t be shy to call if you haven’t heard by Wednesday or Thursday. - Jaime

I applied ED to Carleton! Hoping to hear back in the next few days 
Carleton just tweeted an hour ago that ED1 packets were mailed out today.
so some people actually might get it tomorrow in the mail…
We are in MN, so we might be some of the first to get the news. Nervous! Thankfully, my son is calmer about these things, than I am. He’s napping right now. All of his friends applied ED somewhere (mostly on the East coast), so it will be an interesting next couple of days!
I just checked out Carleton’s Twitter, and the photo seems to show more large envelopes than small ones!
So did anybody in the midwest find out today? (I’m on east coast).
