Carleton College ED class of 2022

Nice to meet you all too! Is there an accepted students FB page by any chance?

@nickmcollins I think I found the FB page, it’s titled Carleton College 2022 (Student Official)

Sort of jumping the gun here, but does anybody know when we get student email addresses? I really want to get student discounts on stuff lol

Has anyone gotten their acceptance packets yet? And if so, where are you from? I’m from California and am not sure when to expect to get mine. Although just being accepted is enough, I am still eagerly awaiting to receive it!

@carletonkid11 I haven’t heard anything about student emails as of yet

@StopSignsAreKool I got my packet in the mail yesterday, but I’m from Minnesota, so it make sense that I got it before you. It should be coming soon!

@runnergirl31 I got mine in the mail a few hours ago!

Hey guys! I’m a little late to the discussion, but I’m super excited to be a part of Carleton’s class of 2022 also! When you guys withdrew your applications to other schools you applied to, did you write to or call each college?

@juggleband42 I just emailed admissions at the other schools I applied to. That was enough!

Hello from Long Island, New York!

Couple of questions for you guys:

Anyone here interested in Physics / Astronomy / Astrophysics as a possible major?

Anyone here applying EDII?

Could anyone who visited tell me a little bit about the ‘feel’ and ‘atmosphere’ of Carleton?

Could anyone who applied EDI reply with your decisions and GPA/SAT?

Thanks so much and looking forward to (hopefully) seeing you next year!

I got accepted through ED1 with a GPA of 3.59 UW and 4.1W, didn’t take the SAT, but my ACT was a 26. My gpa dropped from a 3.8 due AP Physics. Also the Carleton is pretty chill and not stressful as you might think, or at least that’s what my brother told me anyways (he’s graduates ‘19 if you’re wondering, also works in admission but he was abroad when my application was getting processed). They care more about what you’ve done or want to do than grades also get recs from teachers who you know are going to write good things about you. Good luck!
