Hey, I’m a senior and Carleton is my dream school. Here are my stats:

ACT - 34
GPA - 3.98 UW, 3 APs so far
Double legacy @ Carleton

Activities:
9-10: writers club
10-12: in charge of school band group, met several times per week to organize orchestra events
10-11: JV tennis
11-12: Volunteer at church organization
11-12: Desgined posters for different school events

I’m Latino, and I think my essays will be really good, writing is a passion of mine

Any geographical diversity? As in are you from the south or west?

Your tangibles (GPA, test scores, not sure where you are with class rank) are fine. It’s the intangibles (recommendations, essays) that will make the difference. I think Carleton really looks for students who can answer “What makes you interesting?” - the student who will fearlessly pursue their interests. Good luck!
