Carleton vs Grinnell vs Macalester

I got into all of them, and I'm thinking about which one I should choose, and they're quite similar...
Since i'm international student, it's quite hard for me to compare through reading their website... I want to study math and computer science, and don't mind about location...
Thanks for any suggestions....

Math and computer science are both strong departments at Carleton - not sure about the others.

Grinnell CS is decent; an Intel co-founder is responsible for much of its endowment. And Carleton is known for the sciences.

Depending on what makes you comfortable, here are a few distinctions - Carleton has the lowest % international students of the three. Macalester has the smallest population of students of color and the greatest gender imbalance.

grinnell - 11% int’l; 72% white; 53% women
m - 12% intl; 91 % white; 58% women
c - 6% intl; 73% white; 52%women

Each school has specific info on their website for int’l students, which I assume you’ve checked out, but also just cruise the websites for a general sense. Carleton has student blogs, the others may too.

I think Mac would be the least “known” for CS and math, although that’s just an impression and not based on personal knowledge.

The other thing is to post this to each of the schools board here. That’ll get you alot of specific insight from current students and parents, including int’ls. Also, many of the parents have kids at 2 of these 3 schools and can give you some comparisons.
Good Luck

Carleton is one of the top LAC’s in the country. G and M are great too, but I would opt for Carleton

any idea about their faculties … especially Carleton… (on its website, it does not specify where the professors graduated from…)
thanks a lot

In my personal preference this is how I would choose them:

1 Grinnell
2 Macalester
3 Carleton
