<p>Any Major offered at CSOM is pretty decent. The Human Resources and Industrial Relations major should be no exception. I suspect Cornell has better national recognition than CSOM - especially for the ILR program.</p>
<p>CSOM is just as hard (or just as easy) to get into as say IT or CBS among the U of M colleges based on the published stats. It seems CSOM is slightly easier to get into compared to Cornell’s ILR program. My experience suggests a strong CSOM application is likely to impress the admission officers at Cornell/ILR. From what I have heard, you will get quality education at both these places. Good luck.</p>
