The Class of 2014 knew by 9 PM.

Are most of you people E.D. 1 ?
I applied ED 2. When do you think that’s coming out?

Probably sometime next month.

6 PM PST, which is 9 PM EST.

so for the past two years, students received their notifications about 3 days before the final dates that they were supposed to receive them?

For the Class of 2013, their letters arrived on the 13th. I just want to sit next to my mailbox tomorrow instead of go to school.

The 13th in 2008 was on a Saturday.

questionsg- I’m applying ED 2 as well. CMU claims that we will know around January 15- which might mean we’ll know by the 12th or 13th. Fingers crossed.

It’s 6PM PST and 9PM EST right now… No results yet.

I knowww… mine’s been stuck at “Admission and Financial Aid Notification” for some time now

I think the earliest we’re getting it is probably tomorrow -le sigh-

Can we stop speculating about the time unless we are actually certain?

haha thats impossible, this thread would be empty without speculation

My friend called CMU today. They’re apparently posting and mailing the letters on Thursday, the 15th. This means (according to what the CMU rep said) we should be getting decisions on Saturday, the 17th and online decisions on the 18th.

there’s no way…

what…brb while i shoot myself.

of course if you call them, they’re going to say that they’re releasing notifications on December 15th, but I doubt they’ll send it that late
when I called, the person on the phone didn’t sound serious and was explaining how it’ll be posted online 3 days after it’s mailed which will take place Thursday etc

Well that’s a disappointment. I thought someone said the decisions were mailed on the 10th.

It makes perfect sense, actually. Although history contradicts, if a college states that their decisions will be made on December 15th, it means exactly that. Sending out the letters on the 15th means that their decisions have been made. They said nothing about receiving the results on the 15th.

Seems like everyone has the cousin or friend that’s calling in.

Just wait and see. No point debating the days and times.
