Carnegie Mellon Admission Question

Thanks to anyone who can answer...

I applied Regular Decision to Carnegie Mellon. I just randomly checked the status of my application on the "Where am I in the Process?" part of the website. It seemed like everything was in order, but there was something that bothered me.

Under the section that read "Test Scores," the ACT portion was blank, while my SAT scores were there. However, under the "Admission Documents Received" section, it said that my ACT scores were received a little over two months ago.

I only care because my ACT scores were better than my SAT scores, so I would prefer they be considered.

Do you think they're only considering my SAT scores, or perhaps it was just an error on the part of the website?

Thanks again!

The only way you can get an accurate answer is to call the Admissions Office and ask them. Call them tomorrow.

Yeah, I guess so. I hope I'm not bugging them too much, I've already called with questions a couple of times before.

If worse comes to worst, and they aren't considering my ACT scores, do you think it's too late for them to do so?

^^ ya... mine is weird too.. i never bothered to call.. maybe i should.. decisions come out in like 4 days? something like that..

for my SAT 2, only chem and math 1 show up.. i guess they were my 2 best ones of the ones i needed?

and my act score shows up screwy..
ACT
Verbal: 27
Math: 35
Sci: 33
SocStud: 33
Composite: 30
Writing: 25

umm ya.. that must be a super score.. and since when is there a SocStud section to the ACT? and Verbal? I def got a 27 in Eng and a 31 in Read and a 10 on my essay

It doesn't really matter at this point. Decisions come out on March 24 so it's almost certainly too late for calling them to make a difference.
