Hi everyone!
I got accepted to AP/EA at CMU this summer for Computer Science 15-122 and Concepts of Mathematics 21-127. I heard that these classes (especially CS) are pretty difficult to get an A in and I was wondering if there are any materials/websites that would be helpful to look at before the class or if there’s anything I should know to do well in them? I took AP Computer Science my sophomore year (I’m a rising senior btw), so would it be helpful to brush up on my Java or should I take a look at C because that’s what the class is taught in? Also, if anyone has any other info about campus life & managing classes that would be awesome to know about as well!
Hello!
I was also accepted to those same classes this summer, so I looked up the professor teaching 21-127 for the AP/EA students that summer and I actually found all the course material from last year!
Here’s the course website: http://math.cmu.edu/~aremondt/teaching/
He also has the course schedule and syllabus from last year on there, which I doubt should change much this year. If you want to get ahead I guess you could also look at the notes he has posted on there as well.
As for 15-122, my course schedule didn’t give me a professor so I could only find course data from Spring 2018 (http://www.cs.cmu.edu/~15122/), but I’ll keep watching the schedule for any updates.
Good luck, I hope we get to work together this summer!

Update: I just looked @ the schedule of classes for Summer II and I found our class and the instructor; this was the class website for last year: http://www.andrew.cmu.edu/user/hgommers/index.html
