<p>I'm a current junior, and I'm really interested in going to Carnegie Mellon's summer AP/EA program. It has some courses that I'm really interested in, but I'm not sure I'll get in.</p>
<p>I have mostly A's and some B's have one C on my transcript (last tri) but I hope it'll be a B or an A this tri. Should I wait until i have one more physics grade before i apply?
PSAT - 228 (math 80, CR 77, writing 71)
SAT II Math - 800 (I don't think they ask for this info)
GPA UW - 3.7 (the C brought it down D:)</p>
<p>EC
Band/Marching Band - three years (section leader one year)
200+ hours community service
Part of a peer counseling club led by our school's guidance counselor (from whom I'll get a recommendation from), also a group leader of that club
Tutor other kids in AP calc AB and bio
piano and dance 10 years</p>
<p>Not many apply (192 out of 262 applied got in) but I'm assuming those who do apply are the best? Also, it has a rolling admission, which is why I'm tempted to send it before the trimester ends. (ends in late March, deadline is May 1 and admittance letters start going out early march) </p>
<p>Do i have a chance at all? I know my GPA is low and that C is really disheartening :(</p>
