anyone know if it possible or how to upgrade from normal wait list to priority wait list? CMU is my first choice. Other school I got accepted: U Michigan, UC Davis, US Irvine
@befree8 I was priority-waitlisted last year (I took a gap-year) but they never contacted me thoughout the summer. I don’t think you can “upgrade” normal to priority WL. Your academic strength, ECs, and overall profile you have already submitted determines whether you will be on normal or priority WL.
@vipahn Thanks. I hope my first choice of HSS work out. All my essays are geared toward for HSS. I am a bit surprise I even get waitlisted for IS.
@viphan it is different this year, it gives you 2 options where it says that if I accepted priority waitlist it would be binding like ED and if I was then accepted, then I would have to attend CMU.
@Bored1997 I only see regular wait list option, not the binding statement you mentioned. See below.

@Bored1997 I don’t think priority option was binding last year, when I was placed on it. Lot has changed for a lot of schools this year.
I anyways accepted the Priority WL offer because CMU is one of my top choices, I can change it at a later date too. @viphan

No new documents those three that everyone is talking about. Probably because my Parent tax return was Not Signed, right? Hopefully.

have not applied for financial aid. so no new forms showed up.
If you applied for FA but end up not qualifying for aid would the documents show up even if you were accepted? For some other schools I didn’t receive any aid whatsoever.
What? I already accepted the priority WL, hahahaha, that is what might have tipped them off, people accepting waitlist offers, sorry guys messed it up for you. 
cypress - did you apply for FA? My student tax form still says Not Received (along with all other FA documents) and I am freaking out. I didn’t apply for FA though. I wasn’t on the waitlist either. I am wondering if it means rejection.
