@nagintapls Good question. Who would choose “ah - send it slow boat” ?
I did not request for a priority mail. Priority mail is for acceptance letters and ‘normal’ mail for rejection. Or at least that how I have always understood it from my 4 years of stalking the CMU threads on CC.
@Pentakis so it’s not indicated on your status page that CMU sent a mail, right? just nervous…
I have no indication whatsoever that CMU has mailed me a letter. Nothing on the portal has changed.
So were the “Fat” letters sent Priority Mail or not?

coongrats @excaliza wondering if you cheked your waitlist status before and also if you had those extra FA documents
No mail for me today, hopefully that doesn’t mean rejection
Thanks! @heelloothere I did check the waiting list. I wasn’t on it. I also did have the extra fa documents. And yes, they were sent by Priority Mail.

Anyone else get in?
Does the “waived” W2 form mean anything on the financial aid section of the portal
Got the extra FA documents and wasn’t on the waitlist.
Hope that’s a good sign.
I am on the waitlist and I have those extra documents as well. So, honestly not sure if it means anything?

You can see how long it should take to arrive. CMU’s zip code is 15213. According to the map Florida and most of South Carolina should take two days. Let’s hope for fast mailmen!
got in! Praise God!
I’m in two days range also, though, haven’t received. Tomorrow, hopefully!!
@psithurisma Nice find on the delivery time map. We’re two days also - in the SF bay area.
Accepted!
