@reformedman, I really hope you get an envelope w PLUMP in big letters on the front.
I live in Pittsburgh and I didn’t get any mail from cmu yet
Just came across this article from last year – http://triblive.com/news/allegheny/10371316-74/cmu-students-university
Anyone see a report of the number of applicants this year?
@momof3co their email said 35,000… wow. that could be counting multiple applications from the same applicant to different cmu colleges though
Thank you @bssurly it’s possible my son forwarded it but I didn’t see that. That’s incredible. Every article I’ve read about colleges making decisions highlights how many more applicants they’ve received in comparison to the year before! I do believe that wherever each of you end up, it is exactly where you are supposed to be. Hope you’re not stressing! I do think you hope your calling CMU but sometimes we don’t know what is best! Could be and may not be. But I’m rooting for you and the best for your story.
FAT=For Accepted Tartans
@bssurly which email
@USUG21 The one in which they notified that decisions would be released on Sunday, 26th March online. You should have received last week.
Does anyone know the time of the day on Sunday that we will be notified?
Yes rcvd that mail
@slowrunner7 It’s 12:01 AM EST, I think. Or whatever time zone Pittsburgh currently follows.
Pittsburgh is currently following EDT, which is UTC-4:00.
@ByteZz Thanks for clarifying. It’s hard to keep up since I don’t live there!
I live in upstate NY. When can I expect the FAT envelope to arrive if I get accepted?
Soon
Was the envelope for sure mailed out Thursday?
The envelopes were mailed out yesterday, 100%!! I called them. Check the USPS map to see when you should be receiving yours.
Hi do I check USPS map?
@tawhidkhn63 Google search “USPS priority mail delivery map,” click on the 1st link, scroll down the page, and in the search bar for zip code, use CMU’s zip code (15123). Then you should be able to see what zone you fall under in the map.
@shadyrainbows said,
That means that the people in zone-1 (pittsburgh) should receive their email today. No one from Pittsburgh has said they received their envelope yet.
