I’m in West Houston. Mail delivery is often poor in Houston, so wouldn’t put too much weight on it. Here are my stats:
4.5 GPA wt (3.75 unwt)
M:780 CR:760
Member of the 2017 US Triathlon Team
Oh I’m also Caucasian, and male (if that helps)
So if I’m in CA and didn’t get the FAT letter yet…am I rejected?
@wormholes no, some people didn’t get the letters last year until after they were accepted. You’ll know if you’re accepted/rejected at midnight when you check the portal
@wormholes Don’t worry! From what I’ve seen in past years it looks like even people in PA didn’t get the letters until after it was posted online and were accepted.
Wait just making sure, decisions will be released at midnight (EST)?
@corgiluverxoxo Yes, tonight at midnight eastern time at this website https://www.as.cmu.edu/application/display.html
You may want to get your student id from the top right hand side of your common app at the collegeboard website now, and have it ready on a notepad.
I just logged into my “Where am I in the Process” and saw this under the financial aid section.
- Federal Verification Worksheet [Not Received]
- Schedule A [Not Received]
When I checked 1-2 days ago it was not there. Did anyone else get this?
@reformedman thank you! I have all the information on passwords and ID’s needed on a spreadsheet, so I’ll look it up when it comes time.
Mine says this:
“Your financial aid processing is not yet complete.
Check back on ‘Where Am I In the Process’ to be sure you’ve submitted all your required documents.”
@bobthebuilder13 Yeah, I have that too. I’m looking at the very bottom of the page specifically under the Financial Aid section where you have the FAFSA, Attestations, etc.
@zoohunter Huh, that’s odd. I’ve had Schedule A showing as ‘Received’ since late January, but the Federal Verification Worksheet isn’t even there (not ‘Not Received’).
@chessant2014 federal verification only appears if your FAFSA was selected for verification.
@weaintevergettingolder Oh, I did not know that, thanks!
@victorialugo I received my acceptance package in the regular mail. I live in North Carolina
@allnighter21 Looks like at least three people on this thread already got acceptance snail-mails, and they all live much farther from C-M than I do. RIP
EDIT: Oh god I didn’t even see the previous pages. Impending doom is upon me…
@zoohunter Oh ok. Nothing down there for me.
Edit: Oh wait nvm. Was looking at the wrong place. I have this:
Parent Tax Return Not Received
Parent W2 Not Received
Student Tax Return Not Received
Student W2 Not Received
Attestations Not Received
Maybe I didn’t fully complete the financial aid stuff?
I don’t have a “Schedule A” either.
So cmu doesnt send out rejection letters right? I live in new york and havent received anything yet…
2 HRS LEFT
I live in Albany didn’t receive anything today.
