Carnegie Mellon Dietrich College Transfer

Hello everyone. Currently, I am a freshman at Allegheny College and am going to attempt to transfer into the Dietrich College for the Fall semester 2014 (want to major in Economics and Statistics). Some of my high school stats:
SAT: 1820
Math: 620
Reading: 590
Writing: 610

ACT: 28
English: 32
Math: 29
Reading: 29
Science: 23

High school GPA was a 3.95 (top 12% class of 339) and some ECs include 3 year varsity basketball letter winner, member of NHS, 20 hrs of volunteering for red cross, over 30 hrs of volunteering at youth basketball camps, and I go to Africa every year with church to give aid to children at our sister church and sponsored orphanage

In my first semester at Allegheny, a rigorous college in it's own right, I ended with a 3.825 and plan on getting at least a 3.5 this semester. Please chance me for getting in as a transfer to Dietrich College.

Thanks so much!

bump. Can anyone give me an opinion; make me feel better or worse about it (haha)

As a soph transfer, your HS record and standardized testing will still be weighted heavily. Transferring up to a significantly to a more selective college like CMU is going to be difficult.

You think it will be difficult even knowing that Dietrich College acceptance rate for transfers is much higher than any other school at CMU?
