<p>I thought I would add this just to keep in contact with people who are also applying and waiting to hear from Carnegie Mellon. I auditioned on February 2, 2012 as an Acting major. CMU is my top choice!
Also, does anyone know when they usually send out Drama decisions and in what way?

<p>I auditioned last year for M.T only saw Barbara she was great but, didn’t get in got accepted at 2 good schools Acting but,took a gap year instead. I auditioned at L.A unifieds for Acting this year saw both Barbara and Kaf they had me sing for them and I thought it was a great audition but,who knows!I believe they make phone calls to those accepted around the 15thru 23th?</p>
<p>Wow that sounds like a great audition! You probably have an advantage too maybe because this is your second time. Fingers crossed for you…for both of us haha

<p>You bet but, chances of getting in are so slim.I was accepted to LIPA in England they have over 5,000 applications from around the world great program soooo far away still waiting on several other schools so we are all in the same boat!</p>

<p>Im not completely sure but a friend just told me that the calls should be going out this week. Im not sure about the reliability of this statement but thats what I heard…</p>

<p>I’ve seen this around a lot(notified by phone), but I haven’t actually seen it on the website and I’m not sure if I heard it at my audition. Is this mainly from previous experiences, that CMU calls students?</p>
<p>ConorJohn: CMU calls the students that they have admitted in mid-March (the dates vary each year), and then post the priority waitlist/waitlist/denied decisions online at the very end of March.</p>
<p>I have a random question. At what time of the day does Carnegie usually call? I heard its usually on the weekends but is it in the morning, afternoon or evening?</p>
<p>My D is a junior MT. She got her call in 2009 on Sunday, March 15th at about 7pm eastern time. I think calls happen throughout the day.</p>

<p>Apparently some Drama students were just called too. They were all male though- maybe theyre calling only males today?</p>

<p>My friend said her friend posted on Twitter and he said that him and six other males were accepted into CMU Drama (that could be a mix between Acting and MT though)
