<p>I was just put on the CMU priority waitlist. Can anyone offer any insight into the chances of being accepted off the priority list? I applied to CIT, so I'm guessing I will only be chosen if people defer admissions to CIT. Perhaps someone has experienced this before. </p>

<p>Also, I did not visit CMU but now I am considering it if I am chosen off the waitlist. Anyone have any opinions, good or bad? Thanks</p>

<p>btw, I plan to major in either chemical or mechanical engineernig</p>

<p>i also got put on the PWL. it says on the admission letter that they take 20% of the kids on the list so lets both keep our hopes up.</p>

<p>lichking- where did you see 20%, because my letter did not reveal the percentage of applicants chosen off the PWL?</p>
