<p>I applied to MCS for chemistry.</p>
<p>Apparently some people have heard back already, but they seemed to be rejections. Does anyone know when we’re supposed to be notified?</p>
<p>This seems like the prime time for transfers to hear back. I got nothing yet. Anyone? *bump</p>

<p>No I do not believe so but it could vary by college.</p>
<p>I do know that CIT does not have one.</p>
<p>I applied for H&SS. I received an email asking me for more information, but I still don’t have a decision. Most schools require that we commit to attending by June 1, and I honestly don’t think CMU will give a decision by then, which is annoying, and not particularly helpful.</p>
<p>When I called CMU to ensure all of my materials were received they informed me that the latest day we could possibly hear is June 1st. After we receive an offer from them, we have 15 days to either accept or reject it. </p>
<p>They said that almost all applications are still under review, and they have sent out very few letters of acceptance/rejection. Most of the applicant pool is going to find out by June 1st. </p>
<p>I think they might have a smaller applicant pool this year because they do not give financial aid to transfer students. </p>
<p>Thoughts?</p>
<p>Due to a recent acceptance at another university, I tried to call the admissions office to ask about my application status but the lady did not even look up my file and only said, “Wait until June”. So, I guess we have about a week left!</p>

<p>I heard today is the last day for decision!!!</p>
<p>I called them to ask about it, they said that they have not made a decision on my application, but all decisions will be out within this week.</p>
<p>i asked today on facebook and they said they will have all the decisions out by june 15th. i thought the 1st was the deadline, though. hopefully you’re right.</p>

<p>I applied to CIT for electrical engineering, and I haven’t heard anything yet. I’m pretty sure Carnegie Mellon is my first choice, but I’m also considering a couple of other schools. I hope they get back to us soon!</p>
<p>I have already been accepted to Cornell and if CMU rejects I will prob go there… </p>
