Carnegie Mellon vs. DePaul

I am a classical soprano who was admitted into both Carnegie Mellon University and DePaul University, as well as Saint Olaf College for a major in Vocal Performance.

My musical interests span from musical theater to jazz to opera to choral music; I basically love it all, but my strengths lie in my HIGH soprano range.

Which of these schools would be the better choice for my undergraduate degree in Vocal Performance, and for what reasons? Just ask if you need more info on my situation.

Thanks! Hope you can help!

Any advice? I'd just like to know which school you think has a "better" program.

I will state the obvious---all three have good voice programs. I would choose
according to your best teacher option and financial package. Depaul is the only school you list that I have visited and they do have a good relationship with the Lyric Opera of Chicago, a beautiful campus, and
a great location in Lincoln Park. The vocal scene in Chicago is pretty vibrant and exciting.
