<p>CMU is a 10 minute walk from Oakland, where University of Pittsburgh is, which is not downtown Pittsburgh, although there is a lot to do there. To get downtown, you take one of the fairly frequently running buses, and it takes about 15 minutes.</p>
<p>JetBlue does take many students back to New York City for affordable prices, but JetBlue doesn’t have amazing coverage of the US. To get back to Dallas, I typically have a connection because American is so expensive. It’s almost impossible to fly direct from PIT to SJC, although I would hope that it can be done to SFO. I’ve had to take connections to get to Houston, sometimes, too. The airport is a nice and never a hassle to fly out of, but the coverage does leave something to be desired.</p>
