Carnegie Mellon vs UCLA

I'm debating between carnegie and ucla; I want to major in history and have absolutely no interest or knowledge of computers/science. Does Carneige Mellon's humanities dept. really really emphasize computer/technology/science? Or are they just saying that, because I keep hearing over and over again that Carnegie Mellon's humanities department is very very interdisciplinary

I know nothing about CMU’s humanities programs…I imagine UCLA would be stronger in this area.

That being said, what option is cheaper for you? Which campus environment do you prefer?

I’d pick UCLA. CMU and humanities just dont’ seem to go together. I am aware how MIT has awesome econ or philosophy dept but that’s an exception. ;)
