Carnegie Mellon's Physics program vs Boston U's

I have been accepted to BU's physics program with reasonable Fin Aid.

I'm on Carnegie Mellon's Priority-Wait-List for physics. CMU's financial aid is $4K lower per year.

Any opinions on BU's physics program? Carnegie's program? They both appear to be relatively small.

How does they compare against each other?

Any and all opinions are welcome.

Thanks!

they are both similar enough that it makes no difference at all for undergrad

CMU has a better name because of the business school and comp sci and even engineering but BU has an infinitely better social life.

I would say it does make a difference considering the avg salaries are 55+k.
