How would this work? I aim for this

Yes, as NCKay’s link notes, transfer students are eligible as long as they meet the financial need requirements and apply for aid on time.

what does that mean? first come first serve, runs out?

No - there is no limit to the number of students awarded the Carolina Covenant.

As long as you meet the following requirements, you will receive the Carolina Covenant:

Hi there :)

Well I’m transferring to UNC this fall, and I didnt know anything about the Covenant until yesterday!!!

So when reading about it I realized that I meet all those requirements (I submitted my FAFSA and CSS profile on time and I demonstrated a tremendous financial need–to the point where even my EFC is 0), and still I was not offered this.

I had been offered before a financial aid package composed by grants, scholarships and loans, and STILL I’m short by about $ 2000 compared to the estimated cost of attendance.

I dont understand why this is happening
Has it happened to anyone else??

Today I contacted the person who is in charge of the Carolina Covenant advisement/etc, and she said that she had to review my case and she would contact me later but I’m SO worried about this that I cant even sleep now, because I would hate to miss this opportunity knowing that I qualify.
