Carroll Questions?

Just some basic questions about BC’s Carroll business school.

You apply to directly to BC and not Carroll separately, correct?

How do you indicate you intend to go there instead of the College of Arts and Sciences?

Is the acceptance rate lower for Carroll?

Can you transfer internally?

How does ED, EA work?

Thanks for your help!

u apply directly to csom

the acceptance rate is lower

u can transfer internally

non restrictive ea

^^technically you can transfer into carrol, but its very hard. you would need like a 4.0 to get transfered in.

transferring into caroll is ridiculkously difficult because spots are already limited, so only a few are allowed to each year and i think if you have lower than a 4.0 you don’t even have a shot…

about how much lower is the acceptance rate?

and with their EA do your chances increase or since its non restrictive do they just stay the same?

wow…look here [Boston College](http://www.bc.edu)

go to csom page…ea is for the top students it will hurt you if you arent the top student(ex competitive with ivies/notre dame

csom has the lowest acceptance rate, i remember some1(scottj maybe?) saying around 3-5%

collegebound41, you are a ■■■■■ and also a rising senior so stop acting like you know what you’re talking about.

superstar, actually he is correct and CSOM is extremely hard to get into so why don’t you leave him alone and go post in the WPI thread?

what are you talking about? you guessed wrong? wow if you wanna call me out how bout you get some common sense. EA is always reserved for the strongest of applicants(read any school’s site with ea like nd,bc, georgetown(if it is ea), etc) They encourage you to apply only if you are a strong applicant from the beginning.

When I visited BC last summer, the tour guide told me that only 4 people managed to transfer from A&S into CSOM during one particular semester.
