Ah yes, that would make sense. Thanks for clearing things up.

My minimum amount due is about $14,000 & a total of $28,000 (I'm out of state). Does that mean I have to pay the minimum amount of $14,000 by August 15?!?

Yeah....sorry.

wait... my quick CARS statement shows:

Minimum Amount Due Now: $2,165.75
Minimum Due + Full Reg Fee: $2,165.75
Account Balance: $12,938.75

but the e-bill thingy shows more:
MINIMUM PAYMENT DUE
3,446.75
ACCOUNT BALANCE
14,219.75

shouldn't they have same figures? and although my loans didn't go through yet, if it does go through, is it going to payoff the minimum amount due and the rest will be refunded?

CARS statement only shows how much you owe for tuition, whereas e-bill shows how much tuition you owe in addition to dorm payment that is due 8/15 + misc costs.

my cars quick statement showed everything as far as i can tell, it matched ebill.

"shouldn't they have same figures?"

E-bill will not update untill the next statment comes in. CARS is updated everyday.

My housing is around there too, just the August installment is less because we move in in 8/21.

So do I pay the minimum amount indicated on e-bill or CARS? CARS has a lower minimum.

I would pay the minimum on E-Bill. You have no penalty if you pay minimum on E-Bill by the way, unlike the "minimum balance" of credit cards.

if my loans and grants are supposed to cover all my fees am i still supposed to pay ebill? cuz technically it's all paid for... the stupid FAO doesnt let me get thru ugh
